This is a group of u3a members who, for whatever reason, are often on their own when it comes to “going out” and would prefer to have some company when they do.

We have a weekly drop-in session to get to know each other over an informal coffee and from there we encourage each other to spread our wings and try new things.

So far, some of us have joined up for afternoon cinema trips and weekend get-togethers. A few of us have met some kindred sprits whom we might never have come across in our everyday lives!

Throughout the year we aim to have some larger gatherings but the main aim is for all of us to meet a few more people and have a lot more fun!
