Once you join you will receive a New Members Welcome Pack which gives more information about Witney u3a.
Before joining you are welcome to attend up to two Speaker Meetings. Please make yourself known to the welcome team if you are a prospective member.

Open to anyone thinking about joining u3a, to find out what we offer, on the first Monday of the month at 2pm in the cafe of the Methodist Church (unless it is a bank holiday).

RENEWALS
Existing members need to renew their membership from the 1st April. You do not need to complete an application or renewal form this year. You can either pay by cash or cheque (Payable to "Witney u3a") at a Speaker Meeting or Bank transfer any time. Bank details are:

Membership Fee
The annual membership fee is £20 person. This fee secures membership of the u3a only and does not secure rights to personal use
of any facilities or services provided by the u3a. This fee also includes a £4.00 fee that is paid to the Third Age Trust, the national organization that supports u3as in the UK. The Trust provides a wide range of services and benefits, including liability insurance cover.
When you join the membership can be adjusted depending on when you join. The current joining rates are:

Membership will be required to be renewed from 1st April annually. Renewing members are eligible for the Early Bird Discount
Payment by Bank Transfer is preferred, if you which to pay by Cheque or Cash please contact the Membership Secretary.
If you pay by Bank Transfer please do not make payment before 1st April.
Alternatively you can bring your form and payment to the Membership Secretary at one of our speaker meetings.

Reduce the above fee by £4.00 per member

The u3a is a non-religious and non-political organisation and is open to all who are no longer in full time employment
All members must:
- Abide by the Principles of the u3a.
- Always act in the best interests of the u3a and never do anything to bring the u3a into disrepute.
- Abide by the terms and conditions of the constitution.
- Comply with and support the decisions of the elected committee.
- Advise the committee of any change in their personal details.

Your personal details will be held in a secure database and will be used solely for the purposes of administration and the communication of the newsletter. They will not be supplied to an outside agency or party other than for you to receive the Third Age Matters magazine which is directly mailed. You can request for your consent to this use can be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Membership Secretary
