During Covid we relied on Zoom to keep us going and we still appreciate the freedom of not having to travel to share the enjoyment of reading plays for radio, film and theatre.

We have a good mix of male (5) and female (4) and we do enjoy a get together from time to time.

We all share the cost of Zoom and the Library fee for the play sets, so the more the merrier. On the day, you are sent an email with a Zoom link to click on.

Recent performances include authors such as Alan Ayckbourn, Anton Chekov, Agatha Christie, Lynn Brittney, Noel Coward, Conan Doyle, Henrik Ibsen, George Orwell, Emlyn Williams, Francis Durbridge, Somerset Maugham, Oscar Wilde and of course Shakespeare. Occasionally we choose our own poem or prose on a specific subject.
