We play an ensemble with the quartet range of descant, treble, tenor and bass. We are a friendly and supportive group. We play early and baroque music as well as modern pieces which have been written for the recorder. Recently, we have also enjoyed some good arrangements of folk songs.

Absolute beginners and anyone who has not played for a while are very welcome to contact the Group Leader to get advice on how to make a start before joining the group. If you played the descant recorder at school, this may be an opportunity to move on to one of the larger more mellow instruments. We particularly need more bass recorder players. If you wish to try out a larger instrument, we have a few spare ones that you may be able to borrow.
